Women’s Adventure Article

Standard

When I wrote “Avalanche Control“, an article in this month’s Women’s Adventure Magazine, I considered that throwing bombs onto fragile slopes is a little like looking for trouble.  The idea is to make avalanches happen when the slope is clear, not when an unsuspecting skier makes her first turn.  But still, I’m looking for the weak spots, poking my fingers into the eye of the beast.  Yet the reward, whether it be my own turns or those of others, is so sweet.
