Weekly High-Five Report: Outdoors for All

The Washington based Outdoors for All Foundation is “transforming lives through outdoor recreation.” This week Outdoors for All is up at Crystal bringing their adaptive ski program to promote their mission to “enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation.”

The Outdoors for All Foundation is a national leader and one of the largest nonprofit organizations providing year round instruction in outdoor recreation for people with physical, developmental, and sensory disabilities since 1978.

Its roots began with fifteen children with disabilities learning to downhill ski at The Summit at Snoqualmie. Today they now offer numerous year round recreation opportunities for over 2,000 participants a year all with the help of a dozen dedicated staff and over 700 volunteers.

This is an awesome foundation really making a difference in people’s lives. Bravo guys and a very enthusiastic HIGH FIVE!

You can check them out at their website and “like” them on Facebook. Definitely click on these links people. These guys deserve it.
