I recently watched this video, inspired all over again by these Canadian ski bums. Produced by Salomon Freeski TV last year, this video recaptures the love of the sport of skiing. These guys don’t allow grumpiness. And when they get to ski fresh lines all day long, I can see why. Oh, and I want to be Mary Woodward when I grow up.

Drove into the upper parking lot by the gondola last Friday nite on my way to Whistler for a week of biking. I’ve never been to your ski hill and wanted to get the lay of the land before they close Cayuse Pass. While at Whistler, I met a young couple who work and play at Whitewater ski area near Nelson. They like it for the out of bounds and powder skiing opportunities. There is another place to fly the Beaver–Kootenay Lake.
